To recap. I saw Harry Potter Land, got Hermiones wand and a butterbeer. I swam with Dolphins, held an aligator, went deep sea fishing, went surfing, went fishing off the pier at the Gulf and caught spadefish and held a really heavy parrot…its been awesome.

Then there is the inbetween stuff which is great, I got to spend the time with my mum and stepdad and big sister who I don’t see all that often. We had so many laughs as we drove around florida from top to bottom and back to the top again. The sights were fantastic and the people we met were so friendly and made you feel real welcome.

This holiday has got me ready for traveling. I’m not scared anymore. I’m ready to see all of the world and I’m going to do it alone, however I aim to meet as many (non murderous) people as I possibly can and hopefuly make friends on my journey.

I’m so happy. (and jet lagged!)

While in Orlando I went to Harry Potter Land which was amazing, I bought Hermione’s wand as well. We went to a hunting store and got to do some shooting too, then we drove to Sanibell and we were fishing off the pier and catching Sheepshead fish. I’m not going to lie Miami is extremely underwhelming and the main strip on South beach is not very nice, it’s dirty and loud. So let me tell you folks, it’s not all its cracked up to be like you see in TV shows. I saw the Miami Heat stadium it was cool and went to see the Marlins stadium too! While in Miami we drove out to Theatre of the Sea and I got to swim with Dolphins! We watched the Dolphin show, saw the Sea Lion show (I got to high five Wilbur the Sea Lion) and got to see the other animals they look after. There are four Sea Turtles of different breeds they care for and all have been maimed by boats. One of them names Quasimodo always has a special life jack on as it levels out her buoyancy otherwise she would sink all the time. It’s really great what they’ve done for her :) I also held a huge parrot that was surprisingly heavy! Then my sister and I swam with Duffy and Storm, we hugged, kissed, rode on theirs bellies, and swam along with them. It was great! We also took a trip out to the Everglades and took and air boat out onto the river as saw some Gators and then went through the safari park and saw all the reptiles and while I was there I held Snappy the Alligator :D
I’m currently in Stuart near Orlando as we’re driving back up toward the airport for heading home. Only 2days left of this great holiday. I reaaaaaaaally don’t want to go home but c’est la vie! All good things come to an end :p

It was rainy today but it’s warm rain unlike in Scotland so we went out and played mini golf in the rain! In the afternoon we went to find a cinema and went shopping at an outdoor mall. I bought hundreds (maybe an exaggeration) of Hollister clothes, got a new bikini in the the summer dress I wanted, then we saw Prometheus in the cinema. It was awesome :)

Just had a guy give me his number, even though I’m from Scotland and can’t text/call him he still insisted a take it.

In two months I’ll be in America soaking up the sun in Orlando and Miami. BIKINI TIME!
Then in November I turn 20 (not to great cause I get old!)
Last but not least January 2013 I go to Australia to see Amanda and all the other delights held down under ;)

Best year ever? I think so :)

I’ve been warned that this will just make me a travel addict and I’ll end up quitting my job and traveling for a year. At least that’s what happened to my friend Carolyn!

We don’t celebrate it in Scotland but I with we did.
